A 300-seat auditorium offers everything from lectures to films. Its primary purpose is to screen original works from the emerging Saudi film industry, as well as educational and culturally insightful documentaries from across the globe.
The Saudi Film Festival is a national initiative program to develop the Saudi film industry, launched by
the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts. The festival seeks to become a catalyst for the film
industry and a contributor toward cultural development in the Kingdom. It also seeks to provide
opportunities for Saudi talents interested in the filmmaking industry, and to celebrate the best films.
The Saudi Film Festival seeks to create a space for creatives in the film industry to exchange ideas. It
comes within a year-long plan to give talents in the film industry plenty of opportunities to learn directly
from the best local and international practitioners in this field. It also provides them with the
infrastructure to showcase their films and communicate with the audience.
The Saudi Film Festival is a non-profit cultural event held at the society's branch in Dammam. It holds an
annual event to celebrate the latest creative movies, and includes training and competitive programs in
addition to public shows.

with the chance to have them produced and directed.
